It may have always been like this but I noticed that Summit County’s ski resorts are the training ground for a lot of big name skiers and boarders. While taking a lap through Keystone’s A-51 park today I spotted Simon Dumont, Jossi Wells, PK Hunder, Mason Aguirre and Danny Cass just to name a few. Everybody is in full training mode to get ready for competition season, Winter X starts January 24 and the Suzuki US Freeskiing Open is the next weekend. If you want to mingle with the pros get up to Summit and keep your eyes open.
