The 06/07 pipe season is upon us, Copper Mountain opened the first superpipe in the country. The Main Vein Superpipe is right at the base of the mountain, so you better be ready to have an audience watching your run from the Burning Stones Plaza below. The pipe measures in at 450 feet long with 18 foot walls, that is just a little over 137 meters long with 5 plus meter walls for those of you on the metric system, anyway. Later this season Copper will host the Jeep US Freeskiing Open and the Main Vein will have some of the sickest skiers out there killing it.
