Arapahoe Basin opened for the season today and narrowly beat out rival Loveland the reining winner for six years, Loveland has tentative plans to open Saturday. A-Basin has only one run open with 1,200 vertical feet and an 18in base, and the park is open as well. So grab your boots and shitty skis (or board) and head up to A-Basin for some October skiing.
